Royal wedding - "Yes"; GGV - "Yes"; SAF arrival honors - "Sorry. Mitsubishi first." - PNoy

"Mr. President be like:
Royal wedding - "Yes"
GGV guesting - "Yes"
SAF arrival honors - "Sorry, I need to attend a car plant opening."

 - Facebook post from a concerned netizen

Villamor Air Base — Netizens are clamoring over President and Commander-in-Chief Benigno Aquino III's no-show on the arrival honors for the slain SAF soldiers today.

"The height of insensitivity!" says once Facebook user on the issue, after saying several curse words and expletives.

Present in Villamor Air Base were President Fidel V. Ramos, Vice President Jejomar Binay, and top officials of the military and the police. PNoy however was a no-go.

President Noynoy attended the inauguration of a car plant by auto giant Mitsubishi in Laguna.

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte defended PNoy, saying that the president did not "skip" the event but rather it was "unscheduled".

Netizens react

"What kind of country have we become???" says a comment in the thread. "Somebody has to be accountable and take responsibility. Kaso ung ama ng bayan (as usual) gustong makalimutan nalng ang nangyari.. like "hey, aint no big thing."'

Some people have defended the president however. "I know our President has his priorities like a college student. We've all been there. It's just a phase."

In a BINGO game?

However, unconfirmed sightings of PNoy places him in a BINGO game with his friends.

A comment in a thread discussing the issue showed a picture of the President enjoying a BINGO game with several colleagues.

Further examination of the photo revealed that the man with receding hair in the photo was in fact a lookalike.

"Sorry," comments the Facebook user. "Pareho kasing kalbo."

Some parts of this article are satirical. But shame on you PNoy.
