#YesToML? Mobile Legends Players Mistakenly Join Pro-Martial Law Rally
MANILA, Philippines — Mobile Legends Peenoise were among a few dozen protesters that showed support for Martial Law after confusion on a Hashtag.
The rally was held in Luneta by some of President Rodrigo Duterte's supporters in support of the extension of Martial Law in Marawi City.
The Mobile Legends players held placards that says "#YesToML" and "Fuck Riot!" which confused some of the Duterte and Marcos loyalists in the crowd.
"Hindi ko alam kung bakit sila sumisigaw ng 'Tangina ng LOL'. Hindi namin sila maintindihan," said one of the organizers of the event.
According to Mobile Legends Pinoy Players group spokesperson J. J. Mon, they were confused by the hashtag after reading it on Free Facebook.
"Akala po namin, yung ML sa hashtag nila ay tungkol sa Mobile Legends. Martial Law pala," said J. J. Mon.
Riot Games is suing Mobile Legends developer Moonton for infringing their copyright on the game League of Legends.
