Imelda Marcos Shops For Wheelchairs, Neck Braces at Lazada Sale
BATAC, Ilocos Norte — Aside from shoes, Ilocos Norte 2nd District Representative Imelda Marcos says she will buy several wheelchairs and neck braces at Lazada to take advantage of the 11.11 sale.
In a tweet dated November 9, the former First Lady of the Philippines linked a Lazada catalog saying that she will check out some wheelchairs and neck braces when the biggest Lazada one day sale hits.
Now on its seventh year, Lazada 11.11 Shopping Festival is an annual sale where Southeast Asia's biggest e-commerce platform will feature huge deals and exclusive bundles.
Marcos says she is preparing for her conviction after the anti-graft court Sandiganbayan ruled her guilty of 7 counts of graft.
"Well, if Ate Glo (Gloria Macapagal Arroyo) could pull it off, I can pull it off too!" says the spouse of deceased dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
In a separate tweet, the former First Lady endorsed Lazada while criticizing OLX, a competitor. "They have fake goods. Only gonna buy from @LazadaPH #NeverAgain", it said.
