Harry Roque's wallet stolen, replaced with cigs, noodles, water

MANILA — Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque's wallet has been stolen by unidentified men and has reportedly been replaced with cigarettes, a pack of noodles, and a bottle of water Thursday, 10 am.

Roque was preparing for the morning's press briefing when he noticed that his wallet was missing.

After consulting with Malacanang's head of security, Roque has found that the wallet thieves placed a pack the aforementioned goods in his bag.

Roque downplayed the incident saying it is not theft, but barter trade. "Kada kinukuhanan ako ng wallet, binibigyan ako ng noodles, sigarilyo at pinakaimportante, tubig, dahil parati akong nagkukulang sa tubig."

According to the head of security, Roque's wallet held a total of Php 5,000 in Chinese bills. The cost of the goods amounted to Php 200, mostly because of the TRAIN law.

“Philippines should discipline its thieves. This is not acceptable, [but] I would not say it was harassment. You know what harassment is? During the time of President Aquino,” Roque added.

This article is obviously a satire.
